PUP SNUGGLES: What inspired you to get into crafting? And how long have you been doing it for?
JAMES PROST: I started crafting as a way to spend my down time in a positive headspace. When I started by making leather bones for my local pack mates, I realized that i love working with leather as much as I enjoy wearing leather.
PS: How do you feel your leather work has benefited the kink community?
JP: As most things with the Leather Community, I believe it has benefited myself far more than I could ever contribute. Nonetheless,the community influences me -bootblacking is a part of my crafting to pour my love into the leather. Sadomaschism inspires my creations, and I live for the energy present at Events that I'm vending at.
PS: Why is crafting important to you personally?
JP: Crafting is my therapy and also my way of expressing love. My Leather Sir, taught me that good boys(bois, pups, subs, etc.) deserve leather especially when it signifies a journey. I craft first for the local pack, to be able to give those I love, the leather, I think they deserve and able to create unique gear.
PS: Where do you think the future of leather crafting is going?
JP: I think with creation of highly quality of "vegan" leathers. We are going to have sustainable gear for all who love leather but feel guilty wearing animal hide.

The collective is stronger than the individual, no one person exists without the support, connection, and interdependent relationships that exist within our community. These connections cannot stop or be limited to local groups, when we can grow our community to be global. An important step to building this, is the exchange of goods, services, information, so that global initiatives, events, and programs that benefit the LGBT2Q community can receive the support they need.
